Kristi is a native to East Tennessee and a habitual resident, having lived here four times. Married for 31 years and a mom for almost as long, she’s done a lot of stuff and lived in a lot of places, even across the ocean.

Baptized at church camp when she was 13, the common thread to all of her eras is Jesus’ commitment to her survival and transformation. Life hasn’t been perfect by any stretch, but she has had the pleasure of knowing His Spirit in her with increasing intimacy. She fell in love with deep, nerdy, personal Bible Study in her twenties, lugging around (gigantic) personal copies of Strong’s Concordance and Matthew Henry Commentary. She absolutely loves pursuing His Kingdom in her life and the lives of others.

Today, she relishes time with her husband, adult children and the beautiful little people they are bringing into the world. She loves being under the open sky, making great art, and having brain-cracking theological discussions with her friends.
